Social media plays a huge role in our lives today. It provides us with an easy way to connect with people, exchange ideas, and get information. However, social media is also being misused.
Recently, we have seen a surge in posts on social media that hurt religious sentiments. These posts spread hatred and division in society and threaten communal harmony.
The question arises, what action should be taken against those who post such content? I believe that strict legal action should be taken against the person who posts such content as well as the admin of that group.
- Personal Responsibility: The person who posts such content is personally responsible. They should be punished according to the law.
- Responsibility of Group Admin: The group admin is responsible for monitoring the activities in their group. If any member posts such content, the admin should remove it immediately and remove that member from the group. If the admin fails to do so, they can also face legal action.
Communal harmony and peace:
- Religious tolerance: We should follow religious tolerance. Every religion should be respected.
- Positive messages: Social media should be used to spread positive messages.
- Spread awareness: People should be made aware of the dangers of misusing social media.
